I was going to stay in another hotel but they sold my room, they walk me to Candlewood Suites, at first i wasn't very happy about since it was kind of late and i just had a long day and i was facing another one the next day, since the moment of arrival Carlos was great, always with a smile on his face, even tho i was a little grumpy and i didn't even bother to hide it, Sorry, he gave me a coupon for a free drink and honestly that make me feel better. when i got to the room i was impressed as i didn't know they have a full size kitchen, where i can cook whatever i please, the room space was big and i really like the spacey closet and bathroom, the convenience store was well supplied, which was a big surprise since other hotel i stayed at they only have a snack machine or coke machine, love that you have your own DVD. in your room, i was very pleased with the ice machine in your own room as you don't have to get out of the room, and i think all hotels should do that because honestly you don't know who else has put their hands in there or if they put something in it..I'm really contemplating to start coming here since they are pet friendly.

This is the best place a Schwansman could stay when you are on an overnight schedule. With my current job and my last job I spent a ton of time on the road and stayed in lots of motels and the Candlewood in Bartlesville is by far the best place I have ever stayed without question. I am always amazed how clean the hotel is especially when it comes to pets. I know the hotel is pet friendly but you would never know it. There is never any pet smells ever and I have never stepped in anything. Trust me I'm a Schwansman and I've forgotten more about bad pet smells than most people will ever know. I appreciate the fact that the hotel can cater to those folks with pets and those without pets.
Another thing that is hugely important to me is having my parking spot open when I get into the motel at night. I have to plug my Schwans truck in overnight for freeze down. My work depends on it. If my spots are not open my stuff melts. If I drive back to Tulsa to plug in I can't service my customers and I go into DOT violation. They take this very seriously and therefore it has never been a problem . Not every motel I have stayed at took it seriously
The only complaint that I have (and this is out of the control of the people that work at the Candlewood in Bartlesville) is that the trash can liners are too thin and tear easily. In fact I use my own trash liners because I got tired of Candlewood's liners ripping and me having to dig wet garbage out of my trash can. Make sure you aren't a penny wise and pound foolish in your decision making. I think I'll ask my tax man if I can deduct the cost the liners that I use because I can't use the ones you provide
Everybody at the Candlewood--Keep up the GREAT WORK!!
