Great Staff, Bad Hotel

The staff was absolutely fantastic. The hotel itself, not so much. It was dated, dirty feeling and our room smelled like an ashtray. I had to go up front for sheets and blankets (no extra pillows either) for the sofa bed and the sofa bed was dirty looking, worn down and very uncomfortable because there was nothing left to cushion the coils. It didn't even maintain a normal mattress shape anymore and had a dip in it from being used so much. The room and building was not maintained properly and not cleaned properly so it felt gross.
The staff was wonderful though.

We were delighted with this hotel. Check in was amazing. Not just courteous, friendly and professional, the lady was helpful, interested and funny. We travel a lot, and it was the best check in experience ever!
The hotel was spotlessly clean, provided masks, wipes and sanitiser when we checked in. There was ample sanitiser around the building. I was impressed at the effort they went to.

From check in to check out the staff was nothing but friendly and helpful. I found a room clean comfortable, bathroom facilities very clean. And reaction to Covid I could see the many steps the hotel was taking to keep their clients safe. I would certainly stay again
